Aweber is a total rip off. They bill you for total subscribers, which includes people who have unsubscribed for your list. they also Bilyeu Subscribers per list so if you have multiple lists and the same subscriber is on that list they bill you multiple times for the same subscriber. Also, they have not really updated their platform in probably 15 years. I've been with them and have tolerated it but no more they're better systems out there. I'm leaving a Weber they can go F themselves.

I am totally on board with this review. I am on HubSpot Starter right now (15/month). If you want the slightest feature added, it requires upgrading to a ton of features that cost like 10X the price of the Starter plan. As soon as I signed up for the Starter plan, HubSpot called me on the phone to try to sell an upgrade. I actually like them calling me. This is because I am open to hearing if there is a compelling case for ROI increasing. However, they also tried to up-sell me multiple times when I reached out for customer support via live chat. That was a bit off-putting. If you have hundreds of dollars to spend on HubSpot per month, HubSpot may be the best option around. And HubSpot's free version is also amazing compared to other free CRMs (due to customization of fields and guarantee to remain free forever). However, their Starter plan is really not competitive with what other companies offer for the same price. I plan to switch to ActiveCampaign for embeddable forms, email automation, and SMS automation.

I would say mailerlite is one platform to stay FAR away from. You may end up like me with all subscribers and mailing lists gone. Even worse is the large number of affiliates that I had gained with their partner program, also all disappeared into the ether. Be very cautious when using this platform. Ensure you have copies of your subscriber lists and don't even bother with finding any affiliates.... they will prob just disappear on you like they did with me. Luckily I do have copies of my mailing lists as well as contact info for all my affiliates, of course they have been notified of the consequences. The saddest part is that you can not even contact them (no matter what others say, just try it if you don't believe)! Very sad indeed.
